"A charismatic performer, fearlessly bringing joy and poignancy within her full-toned singing of classic bossa novas and latter day Brazilian gems, yet with a subtle but sure vocal delivery. "

Paul Pace - Ronnie Scott’s

Lauren Lucille, from Brisbane - Australia,  was lucky to grow up in a family who were jazz and classical musicians and this was her music school from the day she was born. She used to attend her mother's gigs instead of staying home with her siblings and maybe that's where she learnt to really swing! Due to Lauren's love of jazz, composition, pop music and strings, she released an all originals jazz album consisting of a jazz quartet and string trio in 2012 titled 'Hidden Here' produced by songwriter/producer Garry Smith, and launched it to a sold out crowd at the Brisbane Powerhouse. In 2013, Australia's best known trumpeter John Morrison added two of the album's songs to his 'best of jazz list' for Qantas airlines. Lauren also became a finalist for two other songs two years running in the Queensland music Awards. Lauren moved to Europe in 2013 to explore the music scene there and on April 20th, 2019, Lauren released her 2nd album ‘Let Go’ produced by one of UKs top jazz/pop producers, Troy Miller: The album is an honest and refined but emotionally sharp collection of heartfelt songs that sound like singer songwriter folk/pop with elements of gospel and jazz.  Lauren’s dreams have always been to travel the world and sing, and living in Europe and having had the opportunity to sing in London, Germany, Vienna, Paris, New York, Ireland, Italy, Poland and also all major cities in Australia and Auckland, New Zealand, it seems Lauren is living that dream!
