Prolific songwriter, Peter Matthews, returns to Dean Street for an afternoon celebrating his material, which has been variously described by Sarah Ward, Jazz FM as “charming” and a five man judging panel at PRS as “Faultless”. Before Universal claimed him, Jamie Cullum told Peter “you & I have got to get together!”, while Michael Parkinson favourite, Joan Viskant, has described his songs as “Genius”. Renditions of the songs will be performed by five superb musicians: leading UK jazz vocalists Lily Dior and Michael DeMarco, witty piano-playing vocalist Bob Stuckey, multi-instrumentalist Andy Hamill on bass, and the peerless drummer Alfonso Vitale.
