Peter Matthews is a prolific jazz song writer based in London. This is a birthday gig to celebrate his amazing songbook with its wide range of jazz styles and moods, strong melodies and compelling lyrics - at turns wise, witty, romantic and soul searching.  The acclaimed jazz singer Lily Dior will be singing his songs with William Byrne. Lily Dior hails from Australia and has delighted audiences at all the best jazz venues (including top billing at the Sydney Opera House) with her rich, warm, vibrant voice and magnetic and original interpretations of the jazz classics. William Byrne has an impressive West End background and has a voice that ranges from passionate bluesyness to a fine-toned subtlety so well suited to Peter's emotionally ranging songs. Supporting them is an excellent band of renowned talent. We have Bob Stuckey on piano, Andy Hamill on bass, Kate Shortt on cello and Winston Clifford on drums.
