Every week in selected PizzaExpress restaurants, for the past two years, our Live Playlist musicians have been entertaining guests up and down the country. Unsigned Sessions takes this to the next level, giving four different acts a chance to showcase their own material in front of industry and audiences in London. Come to see tomorrow’s biggest stars as they begin their journey to fame! November's show features Jnay, Daisy Chute  and Fox Jackson-Keen.

Jnay a Soul singer from West London who draws inspiration from the likes of Prince, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye. He delivers electrifying tenacious live performances, with his unique vocal range; tastefully smooth and reassuring to sensuous power when needed which wows audiences from all listening music genres.

Jnay was a finalist on XFactor season 7 and is also MOBO award winner. His Talent has taken him to stages all over the world and back again including London's famous Royal Albert Hall along side artists such as George Benson and the Black Eyed Peas to name a few.          


Daisy Chute 

Edinburgh-born, half­-American, hyphen-lo­ving Daisy Chute is a folk songstress and multi-instrume­ntalist with a parti­cular penchant for the banjo.

Formerly of Decca’s platinum-s­elling classical gro­up All Angels, she is excited to be work­ing on her début alb­um of original songs with producer and songwriter Tim Baxter (Andy Burrows, Edit­ors, Nick Mulvey, Ja­smine Thompson).

Also a regular in the London music scene and an award-winning singer and songwriter havi­ng just been awarded first place in the Coffee Music Project singer-songwriter competition, Daisy has been taught and me­ntored by rock royal­ty Sir Ray Davies, featured as a vocalist on Radiohead's lat­est album A Moon Shaped Pool, and even got the thumbs up from Sir Pa­ul McCartney after a performance at the Royal Albert Hall. 

One of Paul Sexton's 'top music tips' for 2018, Daisy's music has been compared to Simon and Garfunk­el and Joni Mitchell (BBC Radio Kent) and her voice has been described as “Exquis­itely delicious. Fox Jackson-Keen 

A new up and coming artist on the music scence, bringing flavours and sounds influenced by Pharrell. Fox Jackson-Keen is also known for his shared performances in a two and a half-year run as the star role of 'Billy' in Billy Elliot the Musical at London's Victoria Palace Theatre.

Afnan Prince

A gifted singer/songwriter from the Northeast of England, Afnan has been has been honing his craft for many years, with the utmost care and patience. Armed with lucidity and emotional depth, a story teller like no other. His unique ability to form a bond with his audience in minutes is truly remarkable. The single is accompanied by a music video of stunning proportions. Afnan has teamed up with model Cait Apps and Director Michael Sreenen to create an aesthetic masterpiece bursting with tension and nostalgia. His previous releases have received airplay on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2 & BBC Introducing and his career has seen him nominated for the songwriter award at the UBEAT awards and crowned winner of 'Best new artist of the year' by Darkus Magazine. Afnan’s song “She” was also used on the ITV show Diamond Geezers and Gold dealers. Having recently penned an exciting management deal with songwriters Elliot and Jonathan Cohen-Gold (Signed to Downtown Music Publishing) we will certainly be seeing more of this hugely talented artist in 2018 and should certainly be earmarked as a ‘one to watch’ in 2018.


Tori Cross

Birmingham-born Tori Cross is a dynamic new singer, songwriter. Her debut single ‘Italy’ created a strong core of fans worldwide. Her follow-up ’Sunrise’ - in collaboration with the producers Duo-Tone - filled UK dance-floors. Tori has spent the past 6-months writing and recording a new collection of songs for her debut album due out in 2019. She describes her music style as minimalist soul RnB and draws her influences from such artists as Lianne La Havas, Etta James, and Amy Winehouse. Tori was singled out by BBC Introducing to perform a radio session on BBC Merseyside and at the BBC Introducing Biggest Weekend Fringe at Liverpool’s Cavern Club. A four-piece band accompanies Tori for her live appearances.
