Andy Drudy, zama.co.uk

Lorne Lofsky is an internationally recognized jazz guitarist. Born and raised in Toronto, he has been playing professionally for over 40 years. He has played, recorded and toured with a who’s who of the jazz world, including Chet Baker, Oscar Peterson, Ed Bickert, Rob McConnell, Joey DeFrancesco, Pepper Adams, Ray Brown, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Rosemary Clooney, Kirk MacDonald and Dave Holland.

“I can’t help being overwhelmingly impressed by your talents. You exhibit the kind of musical dedication that I admire in a very few players.” —Oscar Peterson, in a personal letter to Lorne Lofsky

Canadian expat Lauren Bush has travelled extensively around North America, notching up some impressive performance credits, including opening for Maynard Ferguson, performing at the Victoria International Jazz Festival (BC) and being selected as a finalist in the 2016 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. Her debut album, All My Treasures, was produced by Ian Shaw later that year.

“Lauren Bush has an easy on-stage manner and presence, with versatility and range. A powerfully voiced singer… quietly intense, deeply thoughtful and communicative.” —Sebastian Scotney, London Jazz News
