Elaine Delmar has long been established as a singer of the very highest calibre - with the voice, looks and personality that have captivated audiences wherever she has appeared the world over. Renowned for her stunning versions of The Great American Songbook, Elaine, who was awarded Best Jazz Vocalist at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards, is delighted to be returning to PizzaExpress Dean Street where she will be accompanied by her brilliant quartet - Barry Green piano, Dave Green double bass, Bobby Worth drums and Alex Garnett tenor sax.

Elaine whose father was the renowned trumpeter Leslie 'Jiver' Hutchinson, a leading influence in the jazz and dance band movement in Britain from the 1930s onwards, begun her career singing in working men’s club.  She has combined singing with acting notably in London shows such as ‘Finians Rainbow’, ‘No Strings’, Cowardy Custard’ and ‘Bubbling Brown Sugar’ as well as ‘Jerome Kern goes to Hollywood’ both in London and on Broadway.

Elaine was the recipient of the" Special Award for Jazz” by the 2013 All Party Parliamentary Jazz Awards.  Recently she featured in the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall as a solo jazz artist.       

At PizzaExpress Dean Street, Elaine will be performing some of her favourite songs from her London and Broadway musical appearances.
