Michele Brourman is a multi-faceted writer, arranger and performer. Her work has been recorded by Olivia Newton-John, Cleo Laine, Margaret Whiting, Amanda McBroom, Michael Feinstein, Billy Stritch, Thelma Houston and Sheena Easton. The best-known of her songs ,"My Favourite Year," has been recorded by multiple artists. It is the title of this show too, which explores the nature of time, the experiences that make us who we are and the sometimes unexpected way that life impacts on our relationships. Tonight's show will draw on all her musical experiences and promises to be much-needed West Coast tonic to the onset of late autumn.

“a consummate artist/composer whose loving and deliciously fun music should be heard by the whole world.”

Songwriter/singer/pianist Michele Brourman performs an evening of original songs culled, as she likes to say, from the giant metal filing cabinet in her garage. The evening’s title song, “My Favourite Year”, which has been recorded by multiple artists, including Michael Feinstein, Dame Cleo Laine, and most recently, Anne Reid, “stands out as the most perfect love song, reflecting on the one big passion, the one magical year of a past fondly if regretfully remembered,” writes London’s Jeremy Chapman, who has dubbed Brourman “ the pocket rocket of American cabaret.”
