This duo album is a milestone in a musical and human encounter that took place in Belfast in January 2015 at No Alibis Bookshop. We met through Linley Hamilton (trumpet) who with the complicity of David Torrans (owner of the bookshop) had put together a jazz night. Since then we have shared other musical moments in Northern Ireland realising our mutual love for jazz, early 20th century classical composers such as Ravel and Debussy and for our respective capital cities, Belfast and Paris. This duo album reflects the sensitiveness and spontaneity we like to express through our music. It combines contemporary original material with innovative takes on jazz standards and traditional songs.
