Multi-award-winning vocalist, Liane Carroll, started playing piano at the age of three and by 15 was already working also as a singer and composer. Her wide-ranging credits include: Gerry Rafferty, Jerry Donahue, London Elektricity, Long John Baldry, Charlie Haden, Jacqui Dankworth, Brian Kellock, Ian Shaw, Claire Martin and vocal groups BLINQ and a trio with Sara Colman and Sophie Bancroft. She has enthralled audiences from New Zealand to Brazil and New York, equally at home in intimate jazz venues and vast arenas such as 2016 BBC Late Night Proms and Glastonbury 2017. She has released several award- winning albums, including her latest The Right To Love and a live DVD.
Roger Carey has been part of Liane’s life a glorious 30 years and as bassist in her trio since 1990.
In April Georgia released Songbook - an album co-written with double Grammy-winning pianist/composer Alan Broadbent (Diana Krall, Paul McCartney, Charlie Haden). Their performances in Europe and New York were universally lauded with Jazzwise dubbing sold out debut headline at Ronnie Scott’s “unequivocably one of the gigs of the year.” She produced Revoice! (Gregory Porter, Carmen Lundy, Raul Mídon) - her own international voice festival in association with the PizzaExpress Jazz Club for 5 epic editions. Other credits include: Bobby McFerrin, Jason Rebello, Gwilym Simcock, Darius Bruckeck and Bobby Wellins; a lyric approval by Pat Metheny for his composition Question and Answer and a double nomination as 2016 London Jazz Musician of the Year.
Georgia and Dave Ohm have been together for 16 years, co-producing two albums and many other projects.
