Whether performing beloved vintage tunes with a contemporary twist, cool soul classics or skipping breezily over latin rhythms, Natasha Seale possesses a timeless vocal quality that complements any repertoire.
Her deep exploration of contemporary classic song writers and singers is rooted in her desire to continue the real, resonating story, pull you into the present and make you feel the joy of being in the moment.
Raised by the sea in Hastings & South Wales, Natasha’s unorthodox upbringing was spent in musically vibrant households. Daughter of a Welsh opera singer and actor, Natasha was exposed to classical music from a very early age, discovering soul music, Sounds of Blackness, Liane Carroll and Sarah Vaughan - in that order as a teen. A love affair ensued with June Christy, Ella, the music of the Gershwin brothers and the Great American Songbook.
Hailed by Bebop Spoken Here as a “Jazz lady at heart”, Natasha honed her lustrous tone in jazz combos at the busy mountain resorts of Summit County, Colorado, as the only English member of her uni jazz Quintet ‘Morwenna’ and as a leading lady in London’s West End (Les Miserables, Aspects of Love, Mamma Mia)
The release of her critically acclaimed crossover debut album A Bigger Sky saw Natasha seamlessly step into the world of acoustic jazz and pop music. This collection of nine self-penned tunes (“Timeless torch songs”, “luxurious jazz-pop” – The Musician) was described by Nigel Beaham Powell (BASCA, PRS) as “A musically accomplished body of work” whilst Chris Leon of ‘Fresh On The Net’ exclaimed “Absolutely fantastic music. What a voice!”
Natasha is an international, accomplished actor receiving an Honours degree in Acting followed by a Masters in Songwriting before embarking on her solo career.
Recently Natasha turned her hand to writing again with her show ‘Rosemary Clooney –A Life in Song’ playing to rapt audiences up and down the country.
