Following sell out tours of her fascinating show “Aretha & Me,”  the award-winning singer and musical theatre star Patti Boulaye, makes a very welcome return to The Pheasantry.  In her popular one-woman show, she  draws humorous comparisons of her life with the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, who had a celebrated career including 17 Top 10 pop singles and 20 No.1 R&B hits during her 5 decades of recording. Patti will be singing some of her favourite Aretha Franklin numbers including Respect, Say A Little Prayer, Chain of Fools and Think as well as many more.

Patti Boulaye, is spreading infectious fun, leaving her audience glowing, with her show “Aretha & Me”

Patti is also  an author, actress, public speaker, lecturer, painter, show producer, wife, proud mother of two children and grandmother to a cherished grandson and granddaughter. Little is known about Patti’s charitable work. Her own charity, Support for Africa (SFA), has built 5 healthcare clinics and a school in Africa. Patti was on HM the Queen's Golden Jubilee Creative Committee, she organised and lead 5000 Gospel Singers down The Mall. In 2016 Patti was awarded an OBE for charity work in the UK & Sub-Saharan Africa. 2017 saw Patti awarded a Visiting Teaching Fellowship at Middlesex University. 2021 marked the 50th Anniversary of Patti’s West End debut in the musical “Hair”.

Patti has an Honorary Doctorate Degree for services to The Arts and Education. Recent TVs include BBCTV “Celebrity Master Chef”, 'The Real Marigold Hotel' and “Good Morning Britain”. In 2018 Patti started streaming her TV Chat Show series “Life with Patti Boulaye”.
