Subsequently, his solo career also produced a number of big hits - becoming a household name in the sixties. In the 1970’s he formed The Blues Band, featuring the music that was his first love and this group has toured consistently since.  Paul was also the presenter of the Radio 2 Blues Show for 30 years.
