PizzaExpress Live is very proud to launch a new series of stand-up comedy shows in our Birmingham venue. Performers are drawn from the very best UK club comedians - many of whom are award-winners. Each night will feature three performers. Whether you've come to see someone in particular or are just curious to see a comedy show, every one of the comedians we are presenting is hugely experienced and has sold out shows in their own right.

Andy Robinson (MC)

Andy Robinson is an experienced and accomplished compere. As well as working as a t.v .warm up artis for many years he has also been a support act for the likes of Jo Brand, Sean Lock, Sarah Millican and Kevin Bridges. Winner of Best  Comedian as well as Best Compere in the same year in the Midlands Comedy Awards. His show "Comedy Carousel" has won best Comedy Club night in the What's On Reader Awards. He is funny.

Paul Sinha

Paul Sinha was born in the UK to Bengali parents and the family medical dynasty. Whilst studying medicine in the 1990s, Paul also took his first steps on the stand-up comedy circuit. He pursued both careers and at the 2006 Edinburgh Festival earned a nomination for the highest accolade in live comedy, the Edinburgh Comedy Award (formerly Perrier). Shortly afterwards, Paul hung up his stethoscope to become a full-time comedian. A lifetime of curiosity and learning informs Paul's comedy but now also ranks him as one of the UK’s finest quizzers. This has led to yet another concurrent career, this time as a general knowledge expert on the ITV quiz show, The Chase. A tea-time favourite, The Chase vies with BBC's Pointless as the most watched programme on daytime television.

Mick Ferry

Mick Ferry is renowned as a fine purveyor of lugubrious surrealism and has quickly established himself as one of the most sought after comics on the British and International comedy circuit. One of the finest comperes around, Mick Ferry performs regularly at The Comedy Store in London and Manchester as well as headlining at comedy venues nationwide. He is also a regular member of the prestigious topical Cutting Edge Team at the Comedy Store.
