Brigitte is a singer, actor & teacher with an eclectic performance background in film and television, as well as mainstream and alternative theatre. This has informed her writing and approach to performance in her real passion which is narrative cabaret. Her infatuation with this genre of entertainment began in the 80s with Judy, a tribute to the legendary Judy Garland. Since then she has written and performed Speak of the Devil, Ink: Letters & Lyrics, Partners in Crime (5 stars and a Best Cabaret nomination 2011 AFF) and Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf: A celebration of female songwriters, (multiple 5 stars 2014 AFF). In 2016 Brigitte directed, produced and co-wrote One Art, an opera cabaret, based on the 1960’s American poet laureate Elizabeth Bishop which is being performed by international opera singer Laure Meloy (MET, NY & Tête è Tete, London to date).

The show, Peggy Lee: Is that all there Is?, grew after exploring female songwriters of the 20th century. Peggy Lee kept cropping up - an actor, songwriter and composer who had so many personal demons yet sustained a career that spanned six decades. It was her stoicism and vulnerability that Brigitte related to and found inspiring.

Brigitte is also the Artistic Director and founder of The Mosaic Cat and Mosaic Cat Productions which creates, produces and programs cabaret style entertainment in south east Kent, currently workshopping a new musical Back to Back by Bacharach.
