Peter Donegan, the son of the music legend Lonnie Donegan, has followed in his late father’s footsteps and has now become famous in his own right. He made headline news when he appeared on The Voice UK (2019) and performed a duet with Tom Jones. The song was “ I’ll Never Fall In Love Again”  which was written by his late father and which become a major hit for Tom Jones in 1967. Peter Donegan is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he plays Piano, Guitar, Mandolin, Harmonica, Banjo, as well as lead vocals.  He toured with his late father Lonnie Donegan, and with Van Morrison and Crystal Gale. He starred in a special charity concert at London’s Cadogan Hall, celebrating the 65th Anniversary of the recording of ‘Rock Island Line’, alongside such star names as Van Morrison, Paul Jones, Leo Sayer, Chris Farlow and Joe Brown. Peter has been compared with the great American country rock singer Eric Church.

Peter won two music awards, ‘Best Male Vocalist’ and “Best Original Song’ for his single “Thank You Texas”, at the Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards.

Peter Donegan is looking forward to returning with his band to the Pheasantry, and will perform a selection of his own recordings which he recorded in Nashville, plus a few of his late father’s classic hits, and he will be recalling some fascinating back stage stories.

This will be a very special evening in the company of this multi-talented award winning performer.
