"Planetman, whose band The Internationalz blends highlife guitars and reggae with earnest folk and brightly soulful vocals. The sounds are varied yet simply catchy; the spirit is infectiously upbeat.”

Planetman and the Internationalz prove conclusively that pure groove still has a place in the hearts and souls of man. Planetman is a singer consumed with the passion of his art. He and his band live and breathe for live performance, and their communal spirit echoes throughout their songs – all of which call out in perfect harmony for equality, peace, love and understanding. This is a good-time band who will have any festival crowd up on its feet, shoes kicked off and toes dancing through the fresh green grass.

Born and raised in Kinshasa, DRC, Mulele’s music is influenced by the rich sounds and rhythms of Afrika. Mulele played professionally from the late 1990s, enjoying success early in his career in Southern Afrika, as bassist, guitarist and arranger with a flair for Kongolese styles still popular there today. Mulele was one of five emerging artists chosen for Serious Music’s talent development programme
