Andrew Williams can be seen regularly in and around venues in London with his quintet. He started out as a solo project singing and playing guitar until he formed his quintet with a group of talented local musicians. Andrew’s influences are wide ranging but he particularly loves the fluid playing of Wes Montgomery and the soulfulness of Bill Withers and Lou Rawls.
Becky Gilhespie has performed extensively across the London jazz scene, collaborating with trios led by renowned jazz musicians such as Bob Stuckey and Joe Stilgoe. A student of the acclaimed Bebop jazz queen Anita Wardell, Becky excels in improvisation, showcasing a compelling sense of rhythm and groove.
Becky performs standards with a modern touch, infused with soulful and blues nuances and driven by rhythmic prowess. Taking her influences from the greats such as Charlie Parker to Cannonball Adderly, with her dynamic singing echoing her favourite vocalist influences Eva Cassidy and Carmen McRae.
Michael has his own laid back jazzy take on 'The American Songbook'. His warm intimate style, peppered with the occasional scat, will have you tapping your feet. Influencers include Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr. & Ella Fitzgerald.
