Riva was first signed to EMI’s Jazz label in her teenage years, a whirlwind journey thrust her into global stardom, seeing her perform for HRH Prince Charles, the BAFTAs and on TV shows worldwide. R&B star Usher was blown away by her ‘great voice’. Riva ended up crossing over into the pop world in her twenties. 2020 brought the pandemic, but during lockdown Riva simply amplified her creativity, resulting in the completion of her two part album 'This Woman's Heart'. The collection earned her fans in Sir Elton John and Pete Tong and was showcased at London’s British Summertime Festival, where Riva supported Barbra Strisand. The collection features Radio 2 favourite If I Could Ever Stop Loving You. She will be be performing songs from her back catalogue as well as her new releases.

In 2020, Riva Taylor released the first instalment of her two-part album This Woman’s Heart, featuring the highlight track Jealous, followed by the second part of the record This Woman’s Heart.2, which included Woman and Radio 2 favourite If I Could Ever Stop Loving You. The collection earned her fans in Sir Elton John and Pete Tong and was showcased at London’s British Summertime Festival, supporting Barbra Streisand. 

Forever exploring and learning the British artist has spent the year immersed and inspired by Jazz, Bossa Nova and Samba elements, and learning Spanish. Her latest release, Colours of Blue, was written and produced between London and Mexico City by Craigie Dodds (Amy Winehouse, Billie Eilish) and is a fusion of Latin pop elements reminiscent of heatwaves in the city or sundown on a tropical beach.
