“Pianist Rob Barron was particularly impressive, his spidery, Horace Silver-like runs carving out their own space amongst the rest of the band.”

John Fordham, The Guardian

'What’s In Store…' is the eagerly awaited debut album from one of London’s finest and most dynamic jazz pianists, Rob Barron.

“I wanted to make a record that was unmistakeably recognizable as jazz music. Music that feels good to play, full of soul and passion for the American tradition of swing, harmony and feel. Music that connects with a listening audience rather than alienates them.”

Since moving to London in 2004, Rob has worked with American artists such as Al Jarreau, Marlena Shaw, Phil Woods and Grant Stewart to name a few and has developed a reputation as a first call sideman for musicians such as Dave O Higgins, Anita Wardell and Jacqui Dankworth on the London jazz scene. Tonight he presents his established quartet featuring Colin Oxley (Guitar), Jeremy Brown (Double Bass) and Josh Morrison (Drums).
