London based singer and guitarist Ruta Di stands out amongst other musicians because of her virtuosity and dexterity on both guitar and vocals - beautiful voice with incredible range that she pairs wonderfully with tasteful guitar solos and catchy hooks. Ruta will be celebrating the release of her second album at this special launch gig together with top class musicians - Michele Tacchi on bass, Finn Genockey on drums and a special guest - Alina Bzhezhinska, critically acclaimed one of the best contemporary harpists. Rich and inventive blend of neo-soul, jazz, classical and Brazilian music with heartfelt lyrics creates a very special sound that touches and moves.

Singer and guitarist Ruta Di released her debut album ‘Hooligan’ in 2019, which was warmly welcomed in 2 shows at PizzaExpressLive Holborn and Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. Her music was aired on BBC Radio and JazzFM. In 2020 Ruta released instrumental EP 'Notes From The Lockdown' - collaboration with painter Anna Polukord.

In 2021 she has finished recording her second album with top class UK jazz musicians - Al MacSween on piano, Daniel Casimir on bass and double bass( Jazz FM instrumentalist of the year 2021), Eric Ford on drums and special guests double bassist Jakub Cywinski and flutist Lucia Viola.

Ruta has played at prestigious venues like PizzaExpress Holborn, The Crypt, Toulouse Lautrec, MAAD,The Bear Club, Jazz Train, Colchester Jazz Club, Guinness Cork Jazz Festival, Baltic Film Festival in London, Festival De La Crea in France, Vilnius Jazz Young Power in Lithuania. Ruta is winner and finalist of various contests -, Vilnius Jazz Young Power, Boss Loopstation contest, Guitarist contest in Lithuania ‘Gitaru Selsmas’. She was scouted by The Voice UK. Ruta’s music has been supported by prestigious guitar brand D’Angelico and Women In Jazz.

Harpist Alina Bzhezhinska stormed the UK music scene when her quartet appeared at the Barbican during the EFG London Jazz Festival, alongside Denys Baptiste and Pharoah Sanders, and has been nominated for Best Live Experience of the Year at the 2018 Jazz FM Awards. Later she produced her critically acclaimed album, Inspiration (Ubuntu Music), featuring award winning
saxophonist Tony Kofi. Bzhezhinska has since performed at the London Jazz Festival, Edinburgh International Festival, Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and the WOMADelaide Festival in Australia. Her collaborations include Kamaal Williams, Shabaka Hutchings and Django Bates. 


Italian bass player and composer Michele Tacchi has toured and recorded consistently with some of Italy's most prominent jazz musicians before relocating to the UK in 2015. He has written music for jazz and chamber ensembles, films, theatre, and advertising. In his role as a session player or co-leader, he has recorded more than 30 albums to date. His latest record Il Cielo Sopra Berlino, together with the collective project Kino Trio, was released in 2019 by Babel Label.

Finn Genockey is a drummer, pianist and composer from London. Since starting drums at the age of 6, Finn has had plenty of experience performing at some of the country’s top jazz venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and Pizza Express and regularly writes music for the ensembles he runs - including his 21-piece Jazz Orchestra. He can be heard on a wide variety of recordings from Emma Rawicz’s debut album: “Incantation” to Orla Gartland’s hit single: “I Go Crazy”.
