Sam Kelly's Station House
Fast forward to 2009 when Sam re-launched the band boasting a new line up of Sam Kelly (drums/bvs), Paul Jobson MD/keys/vocals), Richard Sadler (bass), Tony Qunta (guitar/vocals) and Jerome Marcus (percussion/bvs). In 2016, a third “lead singer”, Rowena Poole, joined Sam Kelly’s Station House and this format continues to work at venues and festivals all over Europe/UK.
Sam Kelly’s Station House is a “groove” band with dancing very much in mind. Their musical catalogue includes Johnny Guitar Watson, Keb Mo, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Gary Moore, Stevie Wonder, Little Feat, to name but a few. The band’s unique sound is influenced by New Orleans second line, soul, jazz, calypso, reggae and British funk. With three ‘lead’ singers supported by percussionist and internationally acclaimed drummer, the result is an eclectic fusion of music with its roots firmly based in the blues.

James & Black
Bruce James and Bella Black joined musical forces in Austin, Texas in 2011 and have been on a mission spreading the word of “Guerrilla Soul” ever since. The roots of their music spring from the tradition of the Southern Soul from Texas, New Orleans and Memphis, yet they are not a throwback. The foundation of James & Black is the voices and stories in their songs.
Since relocating to Europe in the summer of 2012, James & Black have toured throughout Belgium, Holland, Germany, Italy, Spain and France, playing close to 150 shows per year and covering over 300,000 km in the process.
They have supported Gregory Porter and Fatoumata Diawara in Leiden at Summer Jazz, Candy Dulfer in Amsterdam at Vondel Park, performed at the Porretta Soul Festival on two occasions in Porreta Terme, Italy alongside artists such as Bobby Rush and Lattimore, performed at the Enclave de Aguas in Soria, Spain alongside Lee Fields and Nikki Hill, performed at The Barcelona International Jazz Festival and have supported New Yorkers, The Slackers, throughout Germany and Austria.
