Sammy Rimington has been closely associated with legendary musicians of New Orleans since the early 60s often working with them as they considered him as one of their own. Sad to say original, traditional, New Orleans music is now performed by few others and we are fortunate to have this opportunity of presenting Sammy with a group of such rare quality as this, featuring among others Bob Hunt and Richard Simmons.

Multi-instrumentalist Sammy Rimington is one of the leading exponents of New Orleans Revival jazz today. He has been playing professionally since 1960 when he joined Ken Colyer’s Jazzmen and played a 3-week tour in Switzerland with the legendary New Orleans clarinetist George Lewis as a guest with the band. Sammy Rimington has performed and recorded with many world class musicians, and can be heard on more than 200 different recordings.
