Shareef Clayton, a Miami native, is one of the most eclectic jazz trumpeters of his time. He has recorded with Grammy-nominated musicians such as Bobby Sanabria, opened for Slash from Guns-N-Roses, and performed with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Michael McDonald, The Roots, Melody Gardot, the Duke Ellington Orchestra and many more. Although artists like Louis Armstrong and Dizzy Gillespie have been Shareef’s primary musical influences, Miami’s melting pot of funk, soul, classical jazz and authentic Afro-Cuban flare resonate in his music and will truly take you on a trip from North to South.
