“Simon Amstell has a gift for taking a social norm and gently mocking it until it seems utterly ridiculous. Highly literate… an endearing mixture of offhanded candour and sharp wit. Such ease and understatement makes him very good company”

The New York Times “The real deal” – The Guardian

Adam Bloom (MC)
Adam is not only a multi-award winning comedian, he is also a prolific writer for other people and has possibly provided material for more comedians than anyone in the country.

Josh Howie

Josh is the writer and star of two series of the acclaimed BBC Radio 4 sitcom Josh Howie’s Losing It, nominated for a BBC Radio Award, and recently acted in the six-part TV sitcom The Jewish Enquirer as one of the leads. His day job as a much in-demand stand-up comic also means he performs regularly at all the major comedy clubs around the UK, as well as over the last few years taking his distinctive brand of hyper-aware humour to India, Ireland, UAE, France, Holland, China, Austria, Hungary, Thailand, Switzerland, Finland, Estonia, and America, as well as being invited to perform at the prestigious Just for Laugh’s comedy festival in Montreal, where he filmed the internationally distributed Just For Laugh’s All Access TV show.

Simon Amstell ‘Work In Progress'

Simon Amstell did his first stand-up gig at the age of thirteen. His parents had just divorced and puberty was confusing. Trying to be funny solved everything. HELP is the hilarious and heartbreaking account of Simon's ongoing compulsion to reveal his entire self on stage. To tell the truth so it can't hurt him anymore. Loneliness, anxiety, depression - this book as it all. And more. From a complicated childhood in Essex to an Ayahuasca-led epiphany in the Amazon rainforest, this story will make you laugh, cry and then feel happier than you have ever been.
