Performing with Julian Kelly at the piano, and Nick Walsh on bass, Simon brings a new perspective to all sides of LOVE! From Girl Meets Boy, to Conjoined Twins, to South American Prison Cells, all via Chocolate Cake! Expect songs by cabaret legend Amanda McBroom, Broadway composers William Finn, Kander & Ebb, and Stephen Schwartz, plus a very unusual song by the writers of Dreamgirls.

Since his solo cabaret debut in 2000, Simon has enjoyed a close collaboration with music director Julian Kelly. Together they have presented concerts around the world in venues from Jermyn Street, via the USA, to Japan.

Last year Simon released his debut album, The Courage of a Dreamer, which will be available at the venue after tonight's concert. (Also see www.simonbeckmusician.com)

He has also performed as a special guest for Dr Paul Whittaker OBE at the 25th Anniversary Celebration concert for Music and the Deaf, opposite Annalene Beechey performing a tribute to Joni Mitchell for the Apollo Victoria Theatre's 80th Birthday Gala Concert, and with The Best of Broadway touring the USA.

A busy music director himself, Simon conducted Scott Alan Live at London's IndigO2, starring Cynthia Erivo, John Owen Jones and Willemijn Verkaik. Also music director for Stephanie J Block's, and Andrew Lippa's, London debut concerts.
