Event Has Passed

Last Show: Sunday 3 rd September 2017

The Pheasantry (Chelsea)

New Musicals Network are delighted to present the highly talented Suzie Aries and guests in concert, raising money for two charities, including Ovacome – a charity which supports women with ovarian cancer. After being diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer, Suzie is determined to turn something negative into something positive. Following a viral video of her story and stating she would do ‘The Big Chop for the Big C’ before undergoing gruelling chemotherapy, she has also raised a lot of money for The Little Princess Trust. Suzie would also like to raise awareness to young people about the symptoms of ovarian cancer so other people can avoid going through what she has gone through. All ticket proceeds will go to Ovacome and Little Princess.

Suzie Aries is a 25 year old actress from Buckinghamshire. She trained at Italia Conti from 2010-2013. Since graduating, Suzie has worked as a Lead Vocalist for Carnival Cruise Lines (2014-2016) performing a wide range of different styles of music from 50s Motown tunes to 80s classic rock. During these 2 years working on cruise ships, Suzie had the opportunity to travel around the world - Bahamas, Southern America, Australia, Fiji, Tahiti, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada just to name a few. After these 2 amazing years, she decided it was time to come back to the UK to pursue her dreams of being in a West End musical. Since returning, Suzie played the role of 'Margot' in Upstairs at the Gatehouse's production of Legally Blonde (2016) and had the amazing opportunity of performing at the Adelphi Theatre in the 48hr production of Thoroughly Modern Millie for Mind charity. Other credits include Cabaret Confidential in 2013, 2014 and 2015 at The Pheasantry, 'Alice' in Dick Whittington (Pantomime), 'Aladdin' in Aladdin (Pantomime) and 'Joanne' in Rent (2013).

After having a rough start to 2017 and being diagnosed with a rare form of Ovarian Cancer, Suzie is thrilled and excited to be performing in her very own cabaret all in the name of charity. Suzie donated her hair to The Little Princess Trust before undergoing her gruelling chemotherapy and is now not only raising money for Ovacome - a charity to support woman who suffer with ovarian cancer - but she is also raising awareness to young woman about the symptoms of ovarian cancer so other people don't have to go what she has gone through. This concert will be Suzie's first solo performance since being diagnosed with the disease and she hopes you enjoy the evening. All ticket proceeds will go to Ovacome and Little Princess.
