Stefania Salvador is an Italian born singer, pianist, composer based in London. Tonight Stefania will present with her quartet for the first time at the Pheasantry ‘An international cabaret night’ where she will perform a selection of  American standards, French chansons, Italian songs  plus some surprise duets! Stefania, on vocal and piano, will be accompanied on piano by the legendary UK pianist Jack Honeyborne (Musical Director of Dame Vera Lynn and Sir Harry Secombe); on tenor and soprano sax the master of the swing Al Nicholls and on double bass Manuel Alvarez.

Stefania Salvador, an Italian singer, pianist, composer and arranger, graduated in classical piano at the Conservatory of Music in Treviso- Italy. She moved to London in 2011 and started her musical collaboration with the pianist Jack Honeyborne.

In 2015 Stefania recorded her album ‘Romance’ with her then quartet, and has performed her musical shows in such renowned London venues as Verdi at Royal Albert Hall, Savoy Hotel and Boisdale. Tonight Stefania’s quartet will present for the first time at The Pheasantry ‘An international cabaret night’ where she will perform a selection of  American standards, French chansons, Italian songs  plus some surprise duets! She writes the arrangements of her repertoire where she wishes to create a bridge between the classical world she came from and the wonderful world of jazz and improvisation.

Stefania will be accompanied by three top class jazz musicians:

- On piano, her Maestro, Jack Honeyborne, one of the finest accompanists and the Musical Director for many stars including Dame Vera Lynn for 19 years, Sir Harry Secombe for 12 years, Eartha Kitt, Peggy Lee, Dick Haymes and Sammy Davis Jr. He recently appeared as pianist in Dustin Hoffman’s film ‘Quartet’.

- On tenor and soprano sax is Al Nicholls, who trained at Leeds College of Music and is the leader of the renowned swing band Blue Harlem. His soulful and thrilling sound will provide the perfect mood to Stefania’s songs.

- On double bass we have  Manuel Alvarez, originally from Barcellona where he obtained a degree in jazz music, who has played with some of the finest international jazz musicians such as Frank Wess, Benny Golson and Phil Woods, as well as many of the UK ‘s finest.
