SUE RYNHART
With an extensive background in early music, classical, choral singing and improvisation Dublin vocalist and composer Sue Rynhart often sings in a very bright clear voice with folk and jazz influences. She creates an edgy blend of modern jazz and different sounds pushing the music forward with her own unique vision.
Nominated 'Best Jazz Album' in the Irish Times Ticket Awards her music has reached international critical acclaim from publications and radio inc; All About Jazz, Folk Radio UK, BBC, RTV Radio Slovenia & London Jazz News.
She has performed at many international festivals including the Jazzycolors Festival in Paris, Brilliant Corners Jazz Festival, Belfast, Manchester Jazz Festival, Liverpool Irish Festival & Perspectives Festival as support act for the late ECM Trumpeter Tomasz Sta?ko.
HUW WARREN
Awarded the BBC Jazz award for Innovation, and the ACW Creative Wales Award, Welsh pianist and composer Huw Warren has achieved an international reputation for innovative and eclectic music making over a thirty year career. His writing style combines quirky rhythmic grooves with simple melodic beauty; and manages to be both complex and approachable. Huw has recorded two albums for ECM (as Quercus with June Tabor and Iain Ballamy) and in 2018 released a solo piano recording Nocturnes and Visions. In 2019 he will release two albums for CAM Jazz Everything in Between (with Dudley Phillips and Zoot Warren) and New Day (with Mark Lockheart). Huw Warren has performed and collaborated with a wide array of musicians including Mark Feldman, Maria Pia di Vito, Neil Yates, Joanna Macgreggor, Kenny Wheeler, Theo Bleckmann and Jim Black.
