Her debut LP ‘Something Beginning With …’ was the culmination of a recording process that took SuRie from London to Greece (via Australia, New York, Sweden, L.A. and Borneo).
“A masterpiece of sympathetic production” - The Acoustic Club

“The beautiful album merges together with ease, making it hard to believe this is her debut.” - Under The Speaker

‘Empty’, a track off ‘Something Beginning With …’ was used as the basis, and at the heart of, a play by the same title, written by Rekha John-Cheriyan, which premiered in London in April 2017.

SuRie released her second studio album ‘Dozen’ to a sell-out audience at the Bishopsgate Institute in London: a concept album featuring a collection of 12 completely revamped cover songs, one for each month of the year, and containing the name of that month in the original title. Featuring songs by Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Tori Amos, Florence and The Machine and more, all rearranged for SuRie’s voice, whilst playing the piano and accompanied by a full string orchestra.
“SuRie shimmered and wowed the crowd” - Wiwibloggs

Her most recent EP ‘Rye’ is an intimate collection of raw and honest tracks, from the tentative ‘I Think’ to theatrical ‘Easy’ to the title track, inspired by the Robert Burns’ poem ‘Comin’ Thro’ The Rye.’
“Simply breathtaking” - Yorkshire Times

SuRie represented the UK with her emotive and uplifting single ‘Storm’ at the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest in 2018 and with TV appearances on The Graham Norton Show, Celebrity Pointless, Saturday Kitchen, This Morning and radio features such as Ken Bruce’s ‘Tracks Of My Years’ on BBC Radio 2, SuRie continues to delight audiences with her charming personality.

Alongside regular appearances in smaller concert venues, SuRie has performed to approximately 50,000 in Israel’s Rabin Square, 25,000 in London’s Trafalgar Square and 20,000 in Lisbon’s Altice Arena, a performance which was also broadcast to 180 million people worldwide.

Collaborations with artists across media include photographer Suzie Larke, for her recent project ‘Unseen’ where portraits of SuRie were displayed on the side of the Southbank Centre in Spring 2021.

Current commissions include original compositions for a new production of Twelfth Night, in collaboration with Jon Whitten and Messy Spirit.

With many accomplishments achieved in her career so far, SuRie was recently elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, an honour awarded to former students for their significant contribution to the music profession.
