EFG London Jazz Festival 2017

Daisy Chute with Alex Curtis Trio

Alex Curtis' new quartet will be joined by Daisy Chute on vocals to perform fresh arrangements of music by the Police, Paul Simon and the Beatles alongside a collection of jazz standards and original music from their forthcoming album ‘Patterns, Habits and Changes,’ out later this year. Drawing on a whole range of influences, the band demonstrates outstanding musicianship and very strong collective writing skills (3 of the quartet are established composers.) Expect highly original arrangements/compositions, heavy grooves and some outstanding group interaction. Daisy Chute is a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger and teacher. As a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano, ukulele, banjo) she performs her own material solo and with various bands including newly formed three and me. She is a founder member of vocal quartet All Angels who have released three successful platinum-selling albums with Universal, two of which were nominated for Classical Brit Album of the Year.

In 2012, Alex collaborated with Ana for a ground breaking sellout series of concerts at the Roundhouse in London.
