The Drawtones
Although only starting in early 2016 The Drawtones have become one of the British jazz scenes fastest rising newcomers. They have supported Curtis Stigers, appeared at the Rye International Jazz Festival, appeared with 2 Jools Holland Saxophonists Derek Nash and Phil Veacock.
In March 2017 they released their debut album "Down the Line" collaborating with the British jazz award winning saxophonist Derek Nash.
Their authentic Hammond groove has gained influence from many of the Hammond legends including Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff, Brother Jack McDuff, Joey De Francesco and Harry Stoneham to name a few.

Julian Nicholas
Saxophonist, composer and bandleader, Julian Nicholas has recently been heard on BBC Radio 3 with the great‘Loose Tubes’, and also with ‘The Cloggz’ at the South Coast Jazz Festival,which he co-curates alongside Claire Martin O.B.E.
He has recorded/ performed/ toured with Claire Martin, Carleen Anderson, Joe Lee Wilson, Eddie Henderson, Bobby Wellins, Kirk Lightsey, Emil Vitlicky, Liane Carroll, Nikki Iles, Eddie Parker, Chris McGregor, Stan Tracey.
The legendary Bobby Wellins said of him “…his beautiful and creative playing makes Julian one of my favourite tenor saxophonists.” Julian supported Nina Simone two years running at ‘The Dome’, Brighton Festival 1990/1. He co-composed a B.A.F.T.A. nominated film score in 1993.
