Get ready for a swingin’ affair with saxophonist Fliss Gorst and her band performing authentic swing, original tunes, and new takes on old classics with lots of festive fun thrown in for good measure! The Fliss Gorst band is full of stellar musicians including highly acclaimed pianist Liam Dunachie and legendary trumpeter/vocalist Dave Boraston. To top it all they’ll be joined by sensational Canadian jazz vocalist Lauren Bush. This fabulous band full of brilliant musicians who are good friends, combined with Fliss’ lively personality will lead to an energetic and festive Sunday lunch show not to be forgotten!

Fliss Gorst has enjoyed success as a saxophonist, band leader, composer and arranger since arriving in London in 2011. Renowned for her big tenor saxophone sound and ‘gorgeous phrases’ (London jazz news) Fliss is an enthusiastic band leader who loves nothing more than performing with her band. Her love for swing greats led her to form ‘The Fliss Gorst Band’ in 2012 and with a line up of incredible musicians the band have gone from strength to strength. They have enjoyed a residency at Poppies, Camden since 2013, regular gigs at The Spice Of Life, Soho, sell-out theatre shows, performances at various jazz festivals, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club & PizzaExpress Jazz Club Dean Street. This show marks the band’s first appearance at The Pheasantry and they can’t wait to party with you!
