The Fontanas return to the stage in support of their forthcoming second album 'The Luxury Of Time'. The sudden change of pace in 2020 offered the band time to return to the studio and apply the finishing touches to their new LP. The result is a collection of super charged latin funk and ska tunes. Just in time for summer fun, marking the band's return to the live scene. Production credits on the album come in the form of Jon Moon (Amy Whinehouse) + bonus remixes from the likes of Aroop Roy. 'The Luxury Of Time' is out summer 2021.

The Fontanas deliver super tight, brass fuelled soul, funk and ska with a large dose of Brazilian and Latin influence. Having honed their sound at regular jam sessions, the band have built their reputation over several releases including the Purple Patch LP and more recently with the Brazil inspired Capoeira Mata Um EP both via Movimientos Records, as well as an exhaustive schedule of festival gigs. They comprise some of the UK’s funkiest musicians who variously played alongside the likes of Incognito, Alice Russell and Mr Scruff, effortlessly conjuring their feelgood festival vibes.
