The Alex Voysey Blues Band have been making waves on the UK blues scene in both clubs and theatres across the country. A rising star and consummate musician, Alex’s passion for blues music began as a teenager when he came across Jo Bonamassa’s album ‘Don’t Talk’ and was immediately hooked and inspired by the virtuosity and complexities of Joe’s playing. A decade later and his tribute to the Titan of Blues is here.

With bass player Ben Hands and his Dingwall 6 string, Paul Arthurs on kit and Andy Alpass on keys, the show brings together tracks from the last 2 decades of Bonamassa albums blended with Alex’s own personal style of virtuosity, exceptional improvisation and contemporary blues mastery, including ‘Sloe Gin’, ‘The Ballad of John Henry’, ‘Athens to Athens’, ‘Woke Up Dreaming’, ‘Dustbowl’, ‘A Conversation with Alice’ and many more.

Recently appointed as a Youth Ambassador for the UK Blues Federation, Alex  released his original blues debut album ‘Head In A Blur’ in May 2020 with its successor, recorded with the Alex Voysey Trio, due out later this year.
