Giuseppe Pucciarelli is establishing himself as one of most interesting guitarist and composers of today’s European Jazz scene. The Pucciarelli Group is currently touring its third album Uplift (Ubuntu Music), showcasing innovative music that is liberating the genre for new audiences. While the music of the band is grounded in the tradition of jazz, its harmonies, melodies and rhythms show the ability to reach and be accessible to a more diverse and wider public. For this particular concert, Pucciarelli is joined by well-regarded musicians on the London Jazz scene: Sam Leak on piano, Marko Scarcia on double bass Jay Davis on the drums. The band will perform the music of ‘Uplift’ as well as the music from the band's previous albums.
