Last Show: Sunday 23 rd October 2016

PizzaExpress Jazz Club (Soho)

A natural storyteller, the singer-songwriter returns to PizzaExpress to perform material from his newly-released album, 'Shoeless and the Girl'.  From the tale of a lovelorn tortoise to the homeless man of the title, the songs have an ethereal, other worldly quality and yet they are grounded in reality. His thoughtful and insightful lyrics are strong enough for Wayne Shorter to have personally approved lyrical adaptations of two Shorter tunes.

A charismatic live performer - expect sizzling swing and a sense of fun from this lively line-up.
