EveryAudio is proud to present one of the finest jazz quintets on the UK jazz scene. Vincent Bach artist Tom Syson is a highly regarded trumpeter and composer based in the UK. ‘Different Coloured Days’ at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, which he released alongside a UK tour in May 2019, receiving large amounts of coverage across BBC radio. His three dimensional soling and compositions have marked him as one of the bright lights in the future of british jazz. Performing tonight with his quintet of fiendishly talented british jazz icons, expect a night of original uk jazz, played by some of the finest jazz musicians on the scene.

Vincent Bach artist Tom Syson is a highly regarded trumpeter and composer based in the UK. In January 2019 he recorded his 2nd album, ‘Different Coloured Days’ at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, which he released alongside a UK tour in May 2019, supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. The album title is inspired by his experience with anxiety.

‘Different Coloured Days’ received a large amount of press coverage, including radio plays on BBC Radio 3 and JazzFM and reviews from Jazzwise and UK Vibe. Tom’s debut album ‘Green’ was released in 2017 and also received high press coverage, including a feature interview on BBC Radio 3's Jazz Now. ‘Green' featured Tom’s sextet at the time as well as JazzFm Vocalist of the Year 2016 Lauren Kinsella on a track. It was produced by long term mentor Percy Pursglove. 

Tom also has vast experience performing in larger ensembles, having held the lead trumpet chair in the European Radio Jazz Orchestra 2018, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and the Birmingham Jazz Orchestra, as well performing with the London Jazz Orchestra, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra and the Syd Lawrence Orchestra. He has performed at venues/events such as the BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scotts, the Barbican and Gibraltar International Jazz Festival.
