The Madrid-based band whose name derives from the maintenance crews working the New York subway system have released their fourth studio album in March 2018.
The album’s title, 'Kansas City Out Groove', is heavily influenced by their 2017 appearance at Folk Alliance International, the world's largest gathering of folk and acoustic musicians in Kansas City Missouri and the experiences they had there. Also appearing on the album is the Nashville-based virtuoso bluegrass band The Barefoot Movement who the band befriended on their US trip.
With their new album and tour dates through the UK, Spain and Ireland the band aren't planning on resting on their laurels anytime soon and are looking forward to bringing their music to new audiences around the world.
“This band turned out to be a total discovery, with vocal harmonies on a par with groups like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, America or the most melodic style of, for example, the Eagles mixed in with the graceful irreverence of The Pogues.”
