Trudy Kerr is a well established jazz songstress of enormous talent and creativity, bringing her wide experiences to bear on performances that remain compelling and current. Mojo magazine says of her singing “Trudy Kerr is the genuine article – she’s a joy”. All About Jazz described her as “100% real jazz musician with fluid phrasing and a mellifluous, warm and sensuous tone”. Trudy got her big break when Ronnie Scott invited her to sing at his club. She has performed at many venues and festivals in the U.K., Europe, and her homeland Australia and has released twelve albums on the Jazzizit label.

Audience have been held spellbound by her recreation of the songs and music of not only Doris Day – Que Sera Sera, Sentimental Journey Secret Love and more, but also concerts performing the music of Judy Garland – Embraceable You, The Man That Got Away and the everlasting Over The Rainbow.

And most recently double header concerts, with her daughter Ruby Gascoyne, together presenting the mother and daughter combination created by Judy Garland & Liza Minnelli, have entertained sold out audiences to critical acclaim.
