Singers and animal lovers Vimala Rowe with Theo Jackson and Anatoli Tsampa will be sharing the stage of PizzaExpress Jazz Club to raise funds for Greek Animal Rescue charity. The Charity's aims are to help abused, neglected, stray and injured animals in Greece, to support a number of animal shelters, to sterilise as many stray dogs and cats as funds allow, as well as to find homes for the lucky few in the UK and other EU countries.

The ticket sales will be donated to the fundraiser.

Vimala Rowe

Vimala is one of London's top female vocalists and established herself on the London’s Jazz Scene as a remarkable live performer, appearing with such luminaries as John Etheridge, Bobby Wellins, Jonathan Gee and others.

Vimala Rowe and Theo Jackson bring their contrasting styles together on stage in a celebration of great jazz vocals. Vimala’s emotive and theatrical delivery is reminiscent of the best of Sarah Voughan and Ella Fitzgerald whilst Theo’s soulful vocal style is complimented by his accomplished piano playing. Between them they have appeared at many of the world’s most prestigious venues including The Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s The Kennedy Centre (USA) and The South Bank Centre.

Anatoli Tsampa

Greek-born singer and songwriter Anatoli Tsampa left Athens to spend several years in bohemian Berlin before moving to London in 2010. On the journey she has studied literature, cinema, acting, dance and physical theatre and has collaborated with various musicians, bands and music producers on jazz, pop, soul, gospel, acoustic and electronic projects. She admires the improvisation skills and aura of the great female jazz vocalists, the passion and charisma on stage of Michael Jackson, the richness of classical music and the poetry in the lyrics of Greek art music. Her interesting blend of influences is reflected in her music and art. She sings and composes songs about dark love, long journeys, nostalgia, the moon and the stars and she is currently working on her debut album.
