The group are contemporaries to other emerging acts on the London Jazz scene such as Nubya Garcia, Moses Boyd, and Ezra Collective. They share the ability to take their music out of the conventional jazz setting and bring energy and movement to their audiences. This does not mean they are without tradition. Where Pathways Meet are deeply influenced by the music of Sun Ra, and have spent the past year reimagining and rearranging his songbook.
