What do Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse, Laura Mvula, Nigel Kennedy, Michal Urbaniak, Jessie J, Candi Staton, and Pee Wee Ellis have in common? They have all relied on Xantoné Blacq’s (pron. Zan-Toe-Nay) voice, keyboard and percussion playing in their bands. Xan was recently seen on BBC In Concert singing and playing a duet with Emeli Sandé as the keyboard player in her band. He is ebullient, ever optimistic, and the life-affirming music reflects the man.

On this new show, Xan performs music from his current studio project HAPPY WEiRDO alongside the well loved tunes from earlier in his career. Ladies and gentlemen, have your voices ready to sing, your hands ready to clap and your feet ready to tap, it’s time for the show.

Xan is joined onstage by his long standing musical conspirators Alex Bonfanti (Michael Kiwanuka’s bass player) and Nathan Allen (Emeli Sandé’s drummer)
