Zoe Francis and her award-winning trio led by Jim Mullen perform songs from the repertoire of unique American singer/pianist Blossom Dearie, who recorded six iconic albums for Verve records during the 1950s and was a favourite at Ronnie Scott's during the 1960's. Zoe will be singing songs by composers Blossom loved and popularised such as 'Peel Me a Grape' and 'My Attorney Bernie' by Dave Frishberg, as well as Cy Coleman, writing duo Comden and Green, and a few hidden gems!  


London born Zoe has chosen songs that resonate with her own time spent in New York, where she fell in love with the well-crafted lyrics of these great 'Big Apple' songwriters. Award-winning guitarist Jim Mullen also spent some time in New York in the 70s and has an equal affection for the city. Jim has written fresh arrangements of these songs for a swinging trio.
