PizzaExpress Live has launched its own record label on 14th April. PX Records will release albums from new and established stars alongside a selection of music from our extensive archive of live recordings.
The first run of releases will feature albums from master US saxophonist and mainstay of the international jazz scene Scott Hamilton, incendiary UK soul outfit Mamas Gun, genre-blurring multi-instrumentalist and producer edbl, and one of the most hotly-tipped new neo-soul bands on the UK scene Native Dancer.
Marking 40 years since his first appearance at PizzaExpress Live in London, the revered US saxophonist Scott Hamilton have releases a new live album, the first release on the newly formed PizzaExpress label PX Records.
ShopGlobally acclaimed British soul-pop outfit Mamas Gun have announced the release of their very first live album, a 13-track set recorded at PizzaExpress Live in Soho in 2022, which will be one of the first releases on the brand new PizzaExpress label PX Records.
ShopDrawing on elements from their collective experience, Native Dancer have created a sound that weaves together influences from hip-hop, trip-hop, jazz, R&B and electronic pop. The Band’s new album ‘At PizzaExpress Live – In London' have been released on PX Records in May 2023. Join us as we celebrate the launch of both the album and the label.
ShopArtist/producer edbl is on track to become one of the UK’s most prolific collaborators. Only two years into his musical project, edbl, real name Ed Black, has released music with more than 50 artists. Completely independent until now and releasing via his own label, edbl recordings, we are delighted to announce that this live recording will be one of the first releases on PX Records.
