Alex Wilson and Nicky Brown return to deliver an explosion of gospel and latin music on two Steinway Grand Pianos. Keyboardist, Nicky Brown, who is steeped in the gospel tradition and also a fine vocalist, creates soundscapes that collide and combine with Alex Wilson’s angular Latin Jazz piano style to create a unique sound and experience for the audience. From beautiful ballads, to virtuosic soloing to moments with the audience as a gospel choir, this will be a night to remember and a coming together in unity, much needed in current times. Music heals and inspires: this is the bespoke mission of these two wonderful musicians.

Alex Wilson

Now based in Switzerland, Alex Wilson is one of the foremost keyboard players to come out of the UK. He has travelled to sixty countries appearing with artists as diverse as Wynton Marsalis, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Ernest Ranglin, Marc Anthony, Cheo Feliciano, Jocelyn Brown, Courtney Pine, Hugh Masakela (RIP), Madou Sidiki Diabate? & DJ Snowboy.

His composing & production career is equally diverse writing commissions for Harrogate International Festival (Concerto for Kora & Piano featuring Seckou Keita), Aldeburgh Music and The Royal Opera House and his theatre score for NITRO’s The Wedding Dance to his TV music placed on Channel 4, the series ‘24’, CNN, Discovery Channel and the Sandra Bullock film The Proposal. In the autumn of 2017, EMI Production music sent Alex to Havana to compose and produce music in the traditional “Buenavista” style. (watch video here) He is currently producing salsa soul for Nolita Golding.

Creator of the annual London Latin Jazz Fest and with nine solo albums to his name including Mali Latino, which achieved a Top of the World accolade from Songlines magazine, Alex has firmly established himself in the world of Latin Music and beyond.

Alex was born in the UK of mixed English/African parentage and was brought up in the UK, Sierra Leone, Austria and Switzerland.

Nicky Brown 

Nicky Brown is a writer, producer, musician who has worked with a host of great musicians and singers early on in his career to the present day. Some of the artists have included Paulo Nuttini, Bloc Party, Primal Scream, Madonna, Paul Weller, Daniel Lazarus, Baba Maal, Mavis Staples, Earth, Wind and Fire, M People, Craig David, Chaka Khan, Smokie Norful, The Clark Sisters, Mica Paris among many others. 
Nicky alongside being in demand as a clinician holds the seat of Min of Music at the world renowned Ruach City Church which hosts 7000 congregants in 5 locations on any given Sunday. As Musical director he conducts and oversees all aspects of music and presentation at each location. He is also a very 

experienced television producer who has musically directed whole productions including shows at the Canterbury Festival, Raymond Gubbay productions at the Albert Hall, ITV, BBC and C4 productions.. He has written contributed to film and television scores and soundtracks and drama series. 
He is a Yamaha artist and keen technologist and traditionalist. Nicky is a excited about music, music making and sharing music.

 Will Fry

Percussionist, Will Fry has performed in over thirty countries across six continents and studied in Cuba, The USA, Brazil and Senegal. He has worked with an eclectic mix of high profile artists including Jamiroquai, Baaba Maal, Duffy, Roy Ayers, Alex Wilson, Snowboy, Roberto Pla and Nathan Haines.

Currently, Will plays for Motown The Musical, having previously held chairs on several other West End Shows and tours and is a band member in original groups led by Ola Ona
