London-born Amrit Kaur is a singer-songwriter and Sarangi player who has toured internationally since the age of 14. Praised by legendary producer Rick Rubin for her live abilities. Notable performances include Glastonbury Festival, Jaipur Literature Festival and the UN General Assembly alongside the Marley Family. Described by OZY Magazine as the place “where Punjabi Folk meets Aretha Soul”, Amrit takes us on a journey through soul music: From Indian Classical and Punjabi folk to jazz, blues and flamenco. Born into a Sikh family in North London, Amrit Kaur is a singer-songwriter, Sarangi player who has toured internationally since the age of 14. Praised by legendary producer Rick Rubin for her live abilities. Amrit's notable performances include Glastonbury Festival, MTV, TEDx, Somerset House Summer Series, All Points East Festival, Jaipur Literature Festival (India) and the UN General Assembly with Skip Marley.

Amrit has composed music for BBC television series and theatre productions. She studied BA and MA History at SOAS, University of London. Her last three releases have been produced by GRAMMY, BRIT and Mercury Prize winning producer Jonathan Quarmby and recorded at the historic RAK Studios in London.
