Beny Luis is excited to present an evening dedicated to Cuba’s most legendary vocalist, ‘El Sonero Mayor’, Beny Moré. Playing re-imagined arrangements of classic Sons, Mambos, Guarachas and Boleros, Beny and his 8-piece band will take you back to the 1950’s and showcase the sounds of pre-revolution Cuba. Beny Luis originally from Holguin, Cuba, grew up singing trova and boleros and became known as one of the most talented vocalists of his generation. At the age of 14 Beny moved to Havana and started to perform with Cuba’s most well-known big bands, Orquesta Riverside, Septeto Habanero and Jovenes Clasicos del Son.
