Dominic Alldis 'Two Trios'

Event Has Passed

Last Show: Saturday 31 st March 2018

The Pheasantry (Chelsea)

Urbane singer-pianist Dominic Alldis returns to the Pheasantry with an evening showcasing two different trios. The first trio, featuring jazz guitarist Colin Oxley and bassist Andrew Cleyndert, will play a selection of favourite standards from the Great American Songbook in a tribute to the legendary Nat King Cole.  Dominic’s second trio, with drummer Martin France and bassist Andrew Cleyndert, will conclude the evening with a journey into the world of the greatest classical composers, including Bach, Chopin and Tchaikovsky – expect a jazz twist on some of the most well-known melodies of all time, classical music as you’ve never heard it before.

"The ‘Jazz meets Classical’ concert by the Dominic Alldis Trio was fantastic. The arrangements gave me a totally new and fresh perspective on classical pieces I’d been listening to for years ..."
