Latin Grammy Winner and Grammy nominated Gaby Moreno is a Guatemalan singer, songwriter and producer who blends effortlessly songs in English and Spanish playing with rock, blues and latin folk styles. Her albums "Ilusion" (2016) "Alegoría" (2022) and "X Mi, vol. 1 (2023) have all received nominations for a Grammy in the "Best Latin Rock/Alternative album" and "Best Latin Pop Album" categories.

The critically-acclaimed radio presenter Nigel Williams has featured live sessions and conversations with some of the world’s finest Jazz talent; from multi-Grammy award winners to the brightest new stars. Nigel says, “There is some incredible talent out there. Each artist has a unique story to tell. The Pheasantry is the perfect venue to experience it all.”

Gaby Moreno co-wrote the theme song for NBC’s hit television show "Parks and Recreation". More recently she co-wrote and sang the song "Por Qué Te Vas" in the Academy Award winning animated film "Puss in Boots - The Last Wish". She's set to release her 9th studio album "Dusk" on Feb. 16th, which includes the single "Solid Ground" and a beautiful rendition of the traditional Guatemalan song "Luna de Xelajú", sung as a duet with Golden Globe winning actor, singer and producer Oscar Isaac.

Since moving to Los Angeles from her native Guatemala, singer-songwriter-producer Gaby Moreno has released eight albums and earned 4 GRAMMY adding the latest ones. “X Mí Vol. 1” (Best Latin Pop Album, 2023) and producing Omara Portuondo’s “Vida” (Best Latin Tropical Album, 2023)  She won a Latin GRAMMY for “Best New Artist” in 2013. 

Moreno’s 2019 album, “Spangled” – a collaboration with musician, songwriter and arranger, Van Dyke Parks – is a set of ten songs celebrating the migration of music across the Americas. The album features, “Across The Borderline” a duet with Jackson Browne and an art cover designed by Klaus Voormann (who designed The Beatles’ Revolver cover). It received a Latin GRAMMY nomination in the “Best Traditional Pop Album” (2020).

Her album “Alegoría” (2022) was self-produced, featuring songs in English and Spanish in what she describes as her love letter to Los Angeles and the musical community that has nurtured and inspired her. It features her guitar heroes Marc Ribot, Davíd Garza and drum legend Jim Keltner.

Over her career, Moreno has shared the international stage with music luminaries such as Tracy Chapman, Ani DiFranco, Hugh Laurie and The Copper Bottom Band, Punch Brothers, Chris Thile, Nickel Creek, Buena Vista Social Club, Calexico, David Gray, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Taj Mahal, Jackson Browne, Van Dyke Parks and many more. She has had the honor of performing several times at Lincoln Center in NYC and The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
