George Bone

Piano Lounge (Covent Garden)

A self-taught vocalist and pianist, 25-year-old George Bone is an Essex & London-based artist. While holistically pop-centred, George combines Neo-Jazz & RnB elements together with his thought-provoking writing & lyrics. George has had multiple high-profile shows across London in just the last year, including supported both Mica Paris MBE as part of GigRealm’s “Recognise The Music” weekend, and UK The Voice winner Molly Hocking at a sold-out show in Camden. This is in addition to main staging RuuFest 2023 in Cambridge, Northern Kin in County Durham, and GearFest 2022, Europe’s largest electronic music festival. George’s debut solo single “Valencia” was released on November 24th, and with more music to come in 2024, remember George’s name.

“[George’s] performances are superb.”

A self-taught vocalist and pianist, 25-year-old George Bone is an Essex & London-based artist. While holistically pop-centred, George combines Neo-Jazz & RnB elements together with his thought-provoking writing & lyrics. His artists inspirations reflect this, ranging from country icons such as Christ Stapleton and Dan + Shay, to the British-based Bruno Major, Eloise & Conor Albert. Accompanies by a band, George is energetic; accompanying himself on keys, however, and you’re provided with an emotional, interactive experience leaving attendees craving more.

In honing his craft while performing, George has held residencies at Battersea Power Station, Mrs Riot and Pizza Express Live. As part of TALENTBANQ, he opened their Summer Stage off-Trafalgar Square in consecutive years and - as part of GigRealm - opened for Mica Paris at The Ivy House, in addition to supporting The Voice 2019 winner Molly Hocking at her sold out shows in Camden and the O2 Academy Islington. Regarding festivals, George headlined the VIP stage at Northern Kin Festival (Durham), RuuFest 2023 (Cambridge), Pizza Express Brighton, and Green City Festival (Chelmsford).

His debut featured single ‘One More Time’ (in collaboration with The Beat Bakery), was signed by V Records earlier this year, in a move which Michelle Ward (PhoenixFM) says puts George “on the cusp of tipping into the mainstream, this year or next”. George’s debut solo single ‘Valencia’ released on November 24th, “[p]ushing the genre forward with [a combination of] 00s indie pop aesthetics[s in this] emotionally disarming ballad” (A&R Factory). On the back of George being announced as the ‘Best Male Artist 2023’ at the Radio Wigwam Awards, and with more music to come in 2024, remember George’s name.

Quote about the night - “It is always a good time when I am asked to perform at a Pizza Express venue, with a matinee show in Holborn, a secret sessions set in Brighton, multiple trips to Tonbridge and one previous performance at Covent Garden under my belt. I cannot wait to share both my music, and my take on popular songs, with you on what I am sure will be an incredible night”.
